Hi! I'm Chauntelle.
I spent 12 years as a special education teacher before following my passion for counseling—I'm currently working toward my license as a Marriage and Family Counselor. Blissfully Rooted began as a way to support my family during my counseling internship, but it quickly grew into something more.
Natural solutions have always been part of my life, so when our third (and stinkiest!) dog joined the family, I started making my own beeswax candles to keep our home fresh—without synthetic fragrances or harsh chemicals. What started as a personal project soon became the heart of Blissfully Rooted. Today, we offer over 20 unique scent blends for both home and body, each crafted to support well-being and bring a little extra comfort to your daily routine.

In Memory of Hansel
We're proud to announce our mission work to provide resources to Midwest Animal Clinic and their partnership with P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park. Together, we're making a difference in the lives of animals in our community.
Blissfully Rooted began after owner Chauntelle Matos and her family adopted Hansel, a special needs Great Dane puppy from P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park. Hansel's special needs caused him to have severe infections in his ears and skin, and Chauntelle and her family wanted a way to combat the new, unpleasant smell in their home with the addition of their baby. This passion for clean alternatives led to the creation of beeswax candles to purify and cleans the air, and help maintain nervous system balance while experiencing the stresses of introducing a dog with special needs into their large family.
During Hansel's last day, Midwest Animal Clinic, who had cared for him since birth, showed incredible kindness and compassion to the Matos family. They continue to serve P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park, and all of the animals searching for their forever homes. To aid in their heroic efforts to give every animal a chance at love and family, Blissfully Rooted will donate 10% of all profits to Midwest Animal Clinic in memory of their beautiful, silly boy, Hansel.
